I’m sure there are people who might be considering getting started or not getting started in a home-based business. Because I was in your shoes at one point, my advice is to seek your own counsel. Listen to your gut and if it feels right, then go for it and then put the blinders on. I had a family member warning me to not move forward with my business. They wondered how I would pay my bills…
SHANE KRIDER
..are they going to pay for your vacation that you didn’t get to go on?
RACHEL KRIDER
Totally yeah. You’re going to have some well-meaning people giving you advice. But at the end of the day, you have to make the decision. I think that’s they key to any successful entrepreneur — they sort their own counsel.
SHANE KRIDER
That’s another common denominator. They look deep inside and either there’s a thumbs up or a thumbs down and they listen to that.
RACHEL KRIDER
Yeah, totally. This business is not for everyone. I get that and that’s totally cool — go out and create success somewhere else. I think a lot of people could move forward in something, whether it be this or something else, but they don’t because of “well-meaning” friends or family members. They’re worried about what people are thinking as opposed to just getting over themselves and following their gut. I think a lot of people could go on to create a lot more success than they’re giving themselves permission to. That would be my advice.
SHANE KRIDER
Yep, I absolutely agree. If you want to us to be doing a case study on your success, follow your gut, listen to your intuition, back yourself up in every way you possibly can, and know your own heart.
